Upper Hydra Hotel - Hydra (Saronic Islands)

The rooms at the guest house are amazing! Our double room had a balcony and a seating area, perfect for chilling out after a long day of exploring. The sea view was absolutely breathtaking and added to the whole experience.

The only thing I didn't love was the free WiFi. It was a bit slow at times, but hey, who needs the internet when you're on such a beautiful island like Hydra?

The food is TASTEFUL and good. This property is in an unbeatable and marvellous location, just off the restaurant, the port below and the ferry & the whole town.

The suite has a lovely garden view, and comes equipped with an electric kettle, fridge, and toaster, beautifully designed with a bathtub in the bathroom, all situated in a fantastic location right by the port.

The breakfast was great, a huge variety of good food. Location: the hotel was just off the cafe below and taverna and the ferry & the whole town. The rooms were clean and soundproof, and having a coffeemaker and kettle was awesome. the food options were tasty and varied. - the hotel is centrally located, with a restaurant downstairs that is willing to assist guests. - I was so happy with my stay that I would gladly recommend this hotel to others.

Oh, the breakfast at the cafe was a real treat! I felt like a queen, ordering whatever I fancied and enjoying every bite. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, I couldn't have asked for a better start to the day. Simply delightful!

The view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the bustling port and all its activity. The breakfast provided was not only delicious but also incredibly generous, keeping us energized throughout the day. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and eager to assist with any of our needs. Our room was beautifully decorated, complete with a cozy and comfortable bed. We were impressed with the high quality of the amenities, including the luxurious Cocomat mattress and towels. The shower was excellent, stocked with an abundance of Molton Brown toiletries. We appreciated the small touches such as the robes and room slippers. The location of the hotel was perfect, conveniently situated right across from the embarkation spot for boats. Despite its proximity to the port, our back-facing room remained quiet. The attention to detail in the hotel's design, like the stylish lamp shades and overall minimalist aesthetic, added to our overall enjoyment of our stay. We were thoroughly pleased with our experience at Upper Hydra and will definitely be returning in the future. The cleanliness of the hotel and the excellent service provided by the cleaning staff, particularly Kiki, were also notable aspects of our stay. Additionally, the restaurant on the premises, Isalos, exceeded our expectations with its delicious food and exceptional service. We would like to extend our gratitude to Staillos and Ifigenia for their warm welcome. If we ever find ourselves in Hydra again, we know exactly where we will be staying. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch experience.

had a wonderful time in hydra, even better than my previous visit. the sea view room at upper was amazing, with a cozy balcony and a comfy bed. the staff was kind and helpful, and the breakfast at isalos cafe was delicious.

The location of this place was absolutely mind-blowing, with an outstanding view. The decor was tastefully done and the coffee machine was super convenient. The bed was so comfortable and the cleanliness was top-notch, thanks to the amazing house cleaner who provided high quality bathroom products. Despite the noise from the port, the soundproofing in the apartment was jaw-droppingly effective. highly recommended!
